Mission accomplished!

After a year of the Play Your Part campaign, we are delighted to announce that we have reached our 100k target, with the final total sitting at €100,521.76. Many thanks to all of you that donated, came along to events, or supported us in many other ways throughout the campaign.

The big question is now, what is going to happen with the funds raised? We spoke with CAST Chair, Roisin Dore, who gave us an idea of some of the plans that are being worked on.

The first exciting news is that new lighting and projectors are being ordered for the Studio Theatre. The purchase has been approved and the order placed, and the hope is that they will be in place before the end of the year.

Anyone involved with the Warehouse will know about the security issues we have had, with a number of burglaries over the years. So an industrial level tool safe is being bought, to keep high-value items safe. This should be in place by the end of November.

As the world gets increasingly digital, so do we! CAST are currently drawing up the quote to install WiFi across the Warehouse complex.

The final item in the first wave of improvements is an upgrade of the bar area in the Studio Theatre, to make the best use of the space. Play Your Part has always been about improving and upgrading the Warehouse complex and it's great news that everyone using the space will start seeing these improvements very soon.
